Philanthropic support is essential to enabling Upham Woods to provide positive outdoor and environmental education experiences for thousands of youth each year. These positive experiences facilitate learning about themselves, each other, and the natural world. Participants dive into experiences outside their comfort zones, challenge and support each other through improved teamwork and communication, and do this immersed in a beautiful and ecologically diverse environment in and along the Wisconsin river. We aim to empower youth to establish an enduring positive connection to nature which improves their own health and wellbeing, that of their community, and contributes to lifelong stewardship of the natural world. We could not do this important work without the help and generosity of people like you!
