Conferences & Retreats
The Upper Dells Research & Education Center is officially open and ready to host your next retreat! Join us along the beautiful sandstone bluffs of the Wisconsin River. Amenities include meeting spaces for 10-60 people, a catering kitchen with a refrigerator, and large monitors to display materials. Other amenities include access to on-site food service, Upham Woods staff to assist you throughout your stay, sleeping accommodations in a dormitory or rustic log cabin setting, and much more.

* Dorm rates: Charged at quad capacity, up to 2 additional occupants can be added for the Full Day rate per person.
**Outpost/Adventure Camp Rates: ** Groups can camp off-site as part of a downriver canoe trip or on-site (on Blackhawk Island or behind the Nature Center). Equipment and canoe transport are provided for outpost groups. Participant transport is not provided. The maximum group size is 20 participants (this includes the minimum of 2 adult chaperones). The visiting group is responsible for bringing food and preparing meals. One Outpost Seasonal Outdoor Educator is provided for each group.
***Outreach Rates: Upham Woods is available for outreach programs at your school, office, group meeting, or other location. Programming includes one Upham Teaching Staff Member for up to 25 participants. All outreach programs are subject to one hour of paid preparation time. Total charges will be rounded up to the nearest 1/2 hour, and mileage fees will apply to and from the location at the current federal rate ($0.70/mile)
